School Trip Advice

Posted by Priory School

The safety of our children is of paramount importance to us at all times. Our forthcoming trips to London for Years 6 and 1 will take place as planned and we will follow our normal protocol to ensure that the children are supervised closely as always. We understand that some parents may wish to withdraw their children from the trips however, we will be unable to offer a refund as all trips are costed based on numbers attending in order to keep charges to parents as low as possible. Also, transport and tickets are booked and paid for in advance in order to secure places so the school is not able to request a refund from our venues and suppliers.

We have also received some information from Slough Borough Council about how to speak to children about terrorism and they have recommended the link below:   For Parents – ChildLine guidance: https://www.childline.org.uk/info-advice/your-feelings/anxiety-stress-panic/worries-about-the-world/?utm_source=twitter_nspcc&utm_medium=nspccsocialmedia&utm_campaign=owntwitter_tweet

If you have any specific worries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. Thank you.
