Learning Together gives parents and carers the chance to spend time in their child’s classroom, join in with an activity and see how we learn at Priory. We look forward to welcoming you.
Nursery: Families receive a letter with the date and time of their session. Nursery offers different types of sessions, so invitations are arranged around the session your child attends. We keep groups small so everyone can take part comfortably.
Reception: We hold a Learning Together morning each term. Parents and carers are invited in groups of around 10 across three days. Your invitation will tell you which morning to attend.
Orchard: All parents and carers are invited to a Learning Together session each term. These sessions are usually held in the afternoon. If you would like to take your child home with you afterwards, please let staff know and follow the usual signing-out arrangements.
Years 1–6: To make sure there is room for everyone, we invite around 10 parents or carers from each class per term. We plan invitations so that every family has an opportunity to attend once during the school year, and we do our best to avoid clashes for families with children in more than one class.
Please sign in on the Learning Together register when you arrive and follow staff directions while you are in school. To protect children’s privacy, please do not use your phone or take photographs or recordings in the classroom. We cannot accommodate younger siblings or pushchairs at these sessions.
Your invitation will include any further details you need. If you cannot attend your allocated session, please let the school office know as soon as you can.
