    Teaching Staff

    Our teachers work together to provide an ambitious, engaging and inclusive education. They get to know each child’s strengths and needs, adapt teaching and work closely with families and colleagues to help every pupil participate, learn and thrive.

    Nursery – Celia Barker

    Celia leads teaching and learning in Nursery, providing purposeful play, exploration and early learning experiences that build children’s confidence, communication and independence.

    Reception – Laraeb Babar, Ummara Parvez and Laura Wilkanowska

    Our Reception teachers help children settle into school, develop positive relationships and build strong foundations through play, practical experiences and carefully planned teaching.

    Our Year 1 teachers support the transition from Reception, building children’s confidence and independence while developing early reading, writing and mathematical understanding.

    Our Year 3 teachers support children as they move into Key Stage 2, developing secure foundations and encouraging curiosity, participation and increasing independence.

    Our Year 5 team supports pupils to become increasingly independent learners, building their knowledge, reasoning and confidence as they move through Upper Key Stage 2.

    Our Year 6 teachers support pupils through their final year at Priory, strengthening their learning, encouraging responsibility and preparing them for secondary school.

    Orchard – Nisha Hewamadduma, Sara King and Kristian Turner

    Our Orchard teachers provide personalised teaching within our specialist SEND provision. They work closely with support staff, families and the SENDCo team to develop pupils’ communication, learning, independence and participation.

    Specialist Teaching and Additional Support

    Javairia Mohammed – Acorns Lead and SENDCo
    Javairia leads our specialist provision for Nursery-aged children, supporting early learning, communication and development.

    Molly Moore – Woodlands Lead Teacher and Assistant SENDCo
    Molly leads teaching and provision in Woodlands, supporting pupils’ individual learning needs and participation across school life.

    Rebecca Morris – Orchard Lead Teacher and SENDCo
    Rebecca oversees teaching and personalised provision in Orchard, working closely with teachers, support staff and families.

    Carina De Jesus – Teacher and Assistant SENDCo
    Carina contributes to teaching and additional support, working with colleagues to identify barriers and help pupils access learning.

    Katie Snowden – Assistant SENDCo and Phonics Lead
    Katie supports inclusive provision and leads phonics, helping children develop the foundations they need to become confident readers.

    Tessa Shaw – Music Leader
    Tessa leads music, providing opportunities for children to develop their musical skills, creativity and confidence.
