Year 6 Trip - Natural History Museum

Year 6 have been making replica fossils as part of their study of evolution.

Year 4 Lunar New Year

English Writing: At Priory, we have adopted a new scheme - Jane Considine's The Write Stuff - to help improve our writing skills. As part of the scheme, children work collaboratively to create a class 'sentence stack' before writing their final, independent pieces. Take a look at this fantastic example from Year 6 which is a narrative poem about the rapid evolution of the peppered moth:

Year 5 were set the challenge to design and build a Mars Rover in their DT lessons as part of their study of 'Space'. The children worked really hard to develop their understanding of engineering in order to create their vehicles.

Y5 developed their sewing skills by making Christmas stockings in their 'Make Do and Mend' challenge linked to their study of World War II. Well done!
