Year 6 Science

Whilst studying the topic of 'light' we were given the challenge to make periscopes!

During our study of electricity, we explored circuits and then applied our knowledge to design and build door alarms.

Year 6 have been learning all about the circulatory system this half term. The photos below show some of our work!

Year 6 have been researching the life and work of the scientist Carl Linneus and learning how animals can be classified using keys. We also spent time using the iPads to research the different vertebrate groups.

We have been exploring how animals adapt to their habitats. We made penguins to test how certain variations help them to survive in a polar environment.
