Puzzle Day!

Year 3 had a wonderful experience with the Maths Puzzle Company! Each class worked in small groups to solve a range of challenges and puzzles - one of the favourites was building a cube using magnetic triangular shapes! A great day was had by all, and it was fantastic to see the Year 3 children working together to problem solve. 

Perimeter

This week we have been focusing on perimeter and the children have begun to calculate the perimeter of different 2D shapes. They have also investigated how many different perimeters they could make by combining three tiles measuring 3cm x 2cm.
