Year 4 Lunar New Year
Year 4 children have made lanterns this week in celebration of Lunar New Year.
English Writing: At Priory, we have adopted a new scheme - Jane Considine's The Write Stuff - to help improve our writing skills. As part of the scheme, children work collaboratively to create a class 'sentence stack' before writing their final, independent pieces. Year 5 were set the challenge to design and build a Mars Rover in their DT lessons as part of their study of 'Space'. The children worked really hard to develop their understanding of engineering in order to create their vehicles.
Y5 developed their sewing skills by making Christmas stockings in their 'Make Do and Mend' challenge linked to their study of World War II. Well done!
